 Furnishing

Life Time products are made with traditional
craftsmanship by skilled carpenters from
the Danish family owned furniture company
Schack Engel, which has been established for
over 75 years. Over the last 25 years, beds
and bedroom furniture have been produced
here according to stringent quality
standards and with a precision that one
seldom encounters these days. Furthermore,
there is a 5-year guarantee on the
construction of a Life Time bed.
Durable natural pine from controlled
forestry.
Made from exclusively specially selected
pine from Northern Scandinavia. The timber
in this region is grown slowly and under
difficult climatological conditions. This
has developed a strong piece of wood which
is ideal for use in producing furniture of
this quality. The product, after all, has to
last a child's lifetime, and longer. So all
Life Time products are fashioned of durable
pinewood from controlled forests. The
varnishes and stains used for the finish are
water-based and environmentally friendly.
Safety above all.
The high sides of the beds, the smooth
finish of the wood and the extremely stable
construction guarantee a sleeping-place that
meets the highest possible safety standards.
This means that Life Time beds meet the
stringent European EN747 2004 standard.
Screen-Printed bed front: You will
notice these straight away: the cheerful,
colourful fronts on the Lifetime beds. The
Dutch illustrator Monique Harderwijk made a
series of illustrations for these fronts
especially for this range. The images are
digitally printed on panels measuring 150cm
wide and 38 cms high. The Pirate bed shown,
above, can be fitted with any of the screen
