This is our agreement with you concerning your purchase of children's furnishings, services and associated products from us. This agreement cannot be changed except by a written agreement signed by you and us.

Returns and Refund Policy: We are confident that you will be very happy with your purchase from VipKids, but if for any reason you wish to return something, we will happily exchange it, or refund your money subject to the conditions below.

1. Goods must be returned within 28 days of receipt.
2. Goods must be unused and returned in their original packaging and condition - we will not accept returns of used or incorrectly packaged items.
3. In the unlikely event that goods arrive faulty or damaged, or develop a fault within a short period of time, please inform us immediately so that we can replace or repair them in accordance with your statutory rights.
4. We are not able to accept returns of self assembled furniture or personalised items unless faulty.
5. We are only able to refund the cost of postage where goods are supplied in a faulty or damaged condition - please call us for assistance on (01482) 831563.
6. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Cancelling your order: (UK): The United Kingdoms Consumer Protection Regulations allow you to cancel your contract within 7 working days from our receipt of your order to receive a full refund of any payments made to VipKids. (Cancellation of order using 'PayPal' will attract an administration charge of 5%, are repayable by cheque and may take up to 10 working days to reach you).

If you do wish to cancel your order please write to us at the address provided, send an e-mail or call us on UK (01482) 831563 during office hours (Mon-Fri 9:30am to 5:00pm). The vast majority of our products are individually hand made for our customers and therefore no refund/cancellation will be applicable following this ' 7 day cancellation period ' . [ See Services ]

At any time after the purchase, we can correct mistakes in pricing or arithmetic made in computing your purchase price. In this case you would be informed within 3 working days of receipt of your order and you would then have the right to cancel and be refunded any payment paid to us in full.

You MUST make any changes of the delivery address or change in the order either in person, by telephone, e-mail or post and the change will be binding only if we confirm the change before delivery. Changes may delay delivery dates.

Deliveries: Are made to the address provided by you when you purchase your goods. We/or our suppliers or their carriers will provide the first delivery free of charge. If you are not at home a card will normally be left by the carriers for you to inform them of an alternative delivery date. If for any reason the carrier is unable to make this second delivery due to there being no one at home/anyone to received the goods, any further delivery thereafter will be charged at £45.00 plus tax where applicable. These charges are payable before the goods are released from storage and re-delivered.

Special delivery requirements such as weekends or evening delivery or difficult access will incur additional charges. Please contact us for details. Any time or date stated by the company shall be treated as an estimate only. Whilst every effort is made to dispatch products within the time scale quoted, no liability can be accepted by the company for failure to deliver within the quoted times or within any specific time period. The company shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including consequential loss or loss of profit) arising directly or indirectly from any delay in the delivery of all or any of the products howsoever caused.

Transport damage shall be noted on the consignment note and the company notified immediately or within 48 hours of receiving the goods.

The customer shall be bound to accept the products when they are tendered for delivery by the company or its business associates and delivery shall be deemed to take place when the products are tendered for delivery to the customer at the nominated address for delivery whereupon the risk of loss, breakage or any other damage whatsoever shall pass to the customer.

Exception to this rule: In some circumstances i.e. Thuka, Heather Spencer etc. These suppliers will telephone 24/48 hours before delivery to arrange a mutual convenient time to deliver your goods, you are informed of this on your postal receipt. If for any reason the carrier is unable to make this delivery due to there being no one at home, any further delivery thereafter will be charged at £45.00 plus tax as applicable. These charges are payable before the goods are released from storage and re-delivered.

Personal/Cashier cheques should be made payable to VipKids. Please do not send cash through the postal system as we cannot accept any responsibility for any loss. Receipts for any payments made to VipKids are dispatched directly by email (where available) and by hard copy (postal system) to the purchaser within 3/4 working days of receipt of such payments.

Tax Charges. All prices will include 17.5% Vat, when and where applicable, charged on all orders within the European Union. Orders outside the European Union will have the VAT, when and where applicable, amount deducted from the cost.

Credit Card Security. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when an order is placed. For additional information on card security go to PayPal web site or 'ordering info' within this web site.

Merchandise sold 'AS IS' / clearance will not be eligible for exchange, allowance, refund or service. All 'AS IS'/ clearance sales are FINAL. Merchandise sold 'AS IS'/ clearance is sold without any express or implied warranties of any type. Purchases for clearance items can only be made by the order form method.

Merchandise marked 'Partial assembly required' [unassembled] or 'Assembly required' is delivered in factory packed cartons for assembly by the purchaser or our suppliers staff (when and were stated).

We retain the right to merchandise until delivered to you and or paid for in full.

If we have to pay any monies or hire a solicitor to collect payment from you we can recover from you all our collection costs including the fees of our solicitors. Trade Sales Only - We understand and will exercise our statutory rights under the United Kingdom Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act if we are not paid according to any agreed terms.

Prices (Retail) for merchandise shown online are only valid for standard delivery within Mainland United Kingdom only and include shipping and handling, unless otherwise advertised or stated in writing.

Whilst we have endeavoured to represent accurately the colours on product shown, there may be some variation between the colours shown on your computer monitor and the finished items.
