VipKids has a firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this web site: www.vipkids.co.uk. We use your IP address to diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our web site. Your IP address is used to help identify you and your order and to gather broad demographic information. Our site registration forms require users to give us contact information [like their e-mail address and name], unique identifiers [passwords] and financial information [account or credit card numbers]. We use customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about our company and it's products. The customer contact information from the registration form is also used to contact the visitor/customer to this site during business hours for either customer service support or any order-processing questions we may have. The customer will also be contacted to confirm the deliver date and time of purchases. Users may 'opt-out' of receiving future mailings; by e-mailing/writing/telephoning us accordingly giving your full details. Financial information that is collected is used to check the users qualifications for registration and to bill/invoice the user for products and services. Unique identifiers [such as passwords] are collected to verify the users identity and for use as account numbers in our records system. Warranty: (United Kingdom)
THE FOLLOWING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THERE ARE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE LIMITED WARRANTY DESCRIBED BELOW.

VipKids warrant that the merchandise you purchase from us will be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty applies to you as the original purchaser only, and only to merchandise which has remained at the original delivery site for a period of 30 days. If the company shall receive a written complaint from a customer in respect of products found to be defective in respect of materials or workmanship only within 7 days of delivery the company after it has had a reasonable time to investigate the same and examine the products in dispute shall be entitled at its opinion to repair or replace the defective product or refund the purchase price.

This warranty does not cover:

► Wear, fading or shrinkage of fabric.

► Damage due to misuse, abuse or accidents.

► Damage or discolouration caused by sunlight or artificial lighting sources.

► Variation of the colour or graining of wood or wood products.

► Ridges or rough areas in marble or variations in its colour or graining.

► The natural variation in graining and colour of leather.

► Furnishings that have been altered by the purchaser.

► Badly or incorrectly assembled products by the purchaser.
 

If the furnishings we sell to you do not meet the above warranty or any warranty expressed or implied, we will, at our option, as your only remedy either (i) refund to you the purchase price in exchange for a return of the merchandise, or (ii) repair or replace the non-conforming item/piece/merchandise. Except to the extent expressly prohibited by United Kingdom Law, we are not liable to you for any consequential or incidental damage for breach of this or any other warranty.

Some assembly may be required to furniture. Product pictures on this web site will be marked accordingly. (Assembly Required)
 

Whilst we have endeavoured to represent accurately the colours available of products, there may be some variation between the colours shown on your monitor/in brochures and the finished items.

Are prices subject to change?
Our suppliers prices do change from time to time, and because of this our own prices may change as well. Therefore until your order is actually received by VipKids there may be a change in the price of such merchandise.  When placing orders, prices are subject to correction in the event of calculation, printing or web site error. If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before proceeding with your order. See [terms of business]. You have the right to cancel your order, with a full refund, in the case of pricing errors on the part of VipKids. This does not effect your statutory rights under United Kingdom law.

How long will my order take?
I am sure you appreciate that to provide quality does take a little time.....In order to offer the best selection of children's products available, VipKids is and continues to work with many highly skilled craftsmen and women world-wide and as a result, delivery dates will vary by individual item and manufacturing artisan. You should allow around 21 days for normal delivery and up to 10 weeks for larger specialised custom products, specialised requirements and imported items. You will find estimated delivery periods stated with each individual products shown. We do keep you well informed on the progress of your purchase throughout manufacture. If  you are concerned about any purchase or the delivery of an ordered items, please don't hesitate to contact us. Are delivery costs refunded if merchandise is returned?
We
do not refund delivery costs of returned items, which are the responsibility of the customer. We suggest customers send all returns via insured mail/courier for protection against damage or loss. [Exception to this rule would be when goods are received by the customer in a faulty or damaged condition]. All goods must be returned in the original packaging. This does not effect your statutory right under United Kingdom Law. In the event of good received damaged please contact our offices as soon as possible.

Liability: If you have notified us of a problem with your received goods, we will either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery; or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in accordance with our Cancellations and Returns policy. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, other persons employed by you to install or build products, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods.
We shall have no Liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor is it intended to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

UK Delivery. Whilst we do our utmost to abide to the delivery periods stated on our web site you will appreciate that there can be a number of different companies handling your order before it arrives at your home, this is especially high when goods are being shipped in from an international manufacturing base. UK deliveries of the products shown on our web site are carried out by independent  companies/carriers on behalf and directly from our suppliers. therefore, although we can offer a guidance and communication to these supplier/carriers, specific days and times are outside of our control and delays, although rare, are sometimes unavoidable.

Furniture Deliveries: Are made to the address provided by you when you purchase your goods. We/our suppliers or their carriers will provide the first delivery free of charge. If you are not at home a card will be left by the carriers for you to inform them of an alternative delivery date. If for any reason the carrier is unable to make this second delivery due to there being no one at home/anyone to received the goods, any further delivery thereafter will be charged at £45.00 plus tax where applicable.

Exception to this rule: In some circumstances i.e. Thuka, Life Time, Parisot etc. These suppliers will telephone 24/48 hours before delivery to arrange a mutual convenient time to deliver your goods, you are informed of this on your postal receipt. If for any reason the carrier is unable to make this delivery due to there being no one at home, any further delivery thereafter will be charged at £45.00 plus tax as applicable. This charge will be payable before the goods are re-delivered.

Can merchandise be shipped Internationally? - Overseas Refunds?
This web site is designed for United Kingdom (£) GBP sales only, and you should always contact us for details before making any purchase from other than the United Kingdom. PLEASE NOTE: Overseas visitors should not make any purchases of our products online until they have discussed their requirements with our offices. If an international purchase is made using other than British Pounds Sterling and a refund is necessary the purchaser may incur a currency conversion charge from their own credit card company when refunding. V.I.P. Kids cannot be held responsible for these charges incurred.
