your work for
purchase consideration or for display on this site, please read the following guidelines:
It is imperative that
whenever possible we have high quality images of
your work and we would be grateful for attachments of photographs in .jpg
format. Please read our Image Guidelines
before forwarding information.
Image Guidelines
The quality of
images greatly affects the sale of products, and we want to
represent your work in the best possible way. Products that have been
photographed professionally sell the best, are given the
most prominent placement on our site, and will be used by us for brochures
and other public relations. In order to display your products on this web
site, we would be grateful for images that are produced within the following
guidelines:
Whenever possible use
professional lighting. this really makes a huge difference in the clarity
of your products on any web site.

* Placing the item
against a background of contrasting colour will make the image stand out. |

Try to avoid shadows in your
photographs. |
|
*
Photograph each item
individually, avoid to much 'clutter'. If you have items that are part of
a coordinating set, photograph them as a set together. |

For hand-painted items we will
require photography to better depict artwork on each product. |
|
*
If you supply framed artwork, it
should be photographed in the frame. include any frame option that is
available. |

*
If you
have upholstery items or soft furnishings, please supply info on
fabrics/finishes available. |

Compare your images for colour
match against the actual product. |

*
Send us your photographs
by e-mail or on a
CD.

*
Files
should be sent in a .jpeg format, with images at a minimum 300dpi [dots per
inch]/High quality. |

*
Name each image with the product
name. |
|
* Describe each
item, the dimensions, materials used and any other
useful information. |

* A wholesale and
retail price should be suggested. |
|
* Inform us of your
merchandise lead times and shipping information. |
|
* Forward only PC compatible files as we are unable to
process MAC files at this time. |
Furniture and furnishing should be manufactured to the UK
furniture and Furnishings [Fire] [Safety] Regulations 1988 [as amended in
1989 and 1993]. A copy of this guide is available upon request.
